The Museum was delighted to welcome back a huge number of Friends and Members to its Winter Coffee Morning in the Church Hall on Saturday 20 November after a two year absence. The Hall was busy all morning as friends took the opportunity for a coffee and chat, to pay their membership subscriptions and to browse the stalls. A total of of £1306.32p was raised for Museum funds, which our Chairman, Roger Radcliffe, described as “amazing”. Having two card readers available made a huge difference in these days when people carry less cash.
The raffle raised £171, the Museum Shop stall £196-39p, and Membership Secretary, Mary Wilson, took £505 in subscriptions.
The Museum is so grateful to anyone who contributed in any way.
