Some of you will remember Gwen Clay, a very well known and loved local artist, and a founding member of St Agnes Art Group, who lived at Wheal Friendly in St Agnes. Following her death last year, her family have generously offered us the loan of some of her oil paintings for an exhibition should we wish.
They have also donated some prints of her work to the Museum to sell to swell our funds There are two, Wheal Friendly and Rocky Lane, measuring approximately 49 x 34 cm. (19 x 13 ins.) and illustrated here, which will be on sale at £8.50 each, supplied in a cardboard tube for protection. If required, they could be posted, so please contact us if you would like one posted to you.
We think they would make a wonderful souvenir of St Agnes. They will also be available at our Winter Coffee Morning.
