The Editor Mandy Kimmins very kindly printed an article in the October edition of The Bolster about recent donations to the Museum collection which included a photo of the crested china from Three Burrows Primitive Methodist Chapel.
To our delight the photo was seen by a Blackwater lady who immediately contacted the Museum to offer some similar crested china from Blackwater Methodist Church, together with a photocopy of the Order of Service for the final service in 1985. This time the china consists of a cup, saucer and plate, all in pristine condition. Of course, the Museum was delighted to accept her offer and I enjoyed an hour reminiscing when the gift was brought to the Museum.
